It is with deep sadness that the Carlow Photographic Society members were informed of the passing of our fellow club member Austin Kinsella yesterday. Austin has been a member of the CPS since the very beginning, 2003, and actively a huge part of the club. Chairperson for many years to being on our current committee to date.
A true gentleman, a man with an in-depth technical mind that was a huge asset to our club over the years. Such a love of photography that many a member gained from his ever sharing knowledge and encouragement over the years. A giving man, a man with a sense of humour that could take awhile to understand, but, when you finally grasped his wit, you ended up sharing many a laugh with him.
Austin, thank you for everything you brought to the club, a friend to so many, a name that will be forever talked about and fondly remembered, a true character, forever in our hearts.
We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the Kinsella family at this sad time.
