Carlow looks forward to hosting the Irish Photographic Federation Distinction Sitting on the 15th of September in the George Bernard Shaw Theatre, Carlow.
We would like to extend very best wishes to all going forward for their Distinction and we look forward to seeing some amazing photography on display.
Thank you to all who came along to our Open Night last night, it was lovely seeing so many new faces. We look forward to getting back into the swing of things and the cameras going again 📸
We’re delighted for Carlow Photographic Society member David Lawlor. His fantastic photograph of Duckett’s Grove has been used in this article for The Irish Times. A place he loves to photograph regularly, well done David 🌟
*** NEW MEMBERS WELCOME ***
Carlow Photographic Society’s open night is on tonight in the Seven Oaks Hotel at 8pm.
We look forward to welcoming back regular members and openly welcome new members.
We are a group of people who are passionate about photography. We enjoy sharing knowledge and experiences while encouraging each other to continuously develop our photographic skills.
We meet every Wednesday night in the Seven Oaks Hotel from 8pm, September – May, with members continuing to meet up for social photo opportunities over the summer period.
We have regular guest speakers, photo workshops, outings and competitions. We also have an annual exhibition which allows members the opportunity to display their photography to a wider audience.
