Hi all.
please remember if you are travelling to Portlaoise tomorrow night you need to be at the Seven Oaks Hotel by 6:00pm. Meeting in Kavanagh's Bar Main Street Portlaoise at 7:00pm.
No meeting in the Seven Oaks Hotel this week.
Also The sub-committee wish to remind those participating in the collage Project to be busy getting your ideas on paper. Following on from the meeting tonight it has been decided by members that the format is open to individuals regarding the number of elements making up the collage. Images can be mono, colour or a mix. Must fit into an A2 footprint. latest date for submission of work is 18th May.
March has been a great month for members to get out and take some photographs of the various parades, outings etc. This Wednesday we are asking members to bring in a selection of images from your favourite outings or parades including St. Patrick's day etc. Also we had a club outing to Thomastown/Inisteague. Three images per membe on a memory stick or whatever.
Also it is an opportunity for those involved in the Collage project to start to organise their images and make a first mockup of their intentions for the project. members are encouraged to bring along any collections for help and comments on them.
Next week Daves Jungle has promised to bring in some of his exotic animals.
