As a lot of you are aware, Photographer Suzanne Behan was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in 2014, high grade Stromal Sarcoma. Her condition, unfortunately, has not improved and she is currently facing surgery in a couple of weeks to remove 3 tumours from her liver. She is in urgent need of specialist advice in Boston as Irish doctors are not a 100% where to go from here and there is currently no Sarcoma Specialist in Ireland.
Suzanne has been accepted as a patient in Bostons leading Sarcoma Treatment Hospital, however, she has not got the funds to travel to this specialist appointment or for the treatment. She is now in a position of having to depend on the kindness of the Irish people to help her raise these much needed life saving funds.
There is a Go Fund Me page set up for Suzanne and upon sharing it on facebook, Ross McKelvey very kindly offered his services of a workshop to help raise funds for Suzanne on Saturday December 1st.
Places limited so booking is essential, they will be booked up fast!
For those who may not be able to attend but would like to donate to Suzanne’s Sarcoma Treatment Fund, you can do so directly in the link below:
