These days, you don't need a couple of porters and a donkey to carry your camera equipment, your DSLR camera will be quite light and unobtrusive if you don't fit it with an 800mm f1.8 telephoto, and most phones come with an in-built camera, so really there is no excuse for not having a camera with you everywhere you go. Of course, the most remarkable shots are only seen when you have no camera, but if you have it you might, from time to time, manage to capture something amazing.
